As many of you will have seen, there is currently a national shortage of BD blood bottles, specifically of the Amber top and Purple top bottles which are most commonly used in General Practice.
We have been given instruction by NHS England and our local CCG that we must cancel all Non-Urgent or Non-Essential blood tests that are booked between now and the 17th of September.
You will be contacted by a member of our Patient Navigation Team if your appointment needs to be cancelled, however if you do not hear from us then please attend your appointment as normal.
